Hi there,

I'm building my first computer. I went out today for all my bits and bobs and have been working on it all day - manuals do not seem to be very helpful!! Found out that the memory is not for this particular board.

I decided to keep it reasonably simple for starters using just a CD-Rom, floppy drive and graphics card - have put the power connectors on to the CD-Rom, Floppy and hard drive - seem to have plugged every thing in OK but cannot figure out which socket to plug the CDRom into - can anyone help, PLEASE?? Anymore info on this board appreciated!!

Thanks

Vikki

It can either be a secondary drive from the main hard drive or it can be directly conected to the Secondary IDE plug on your motherboard. If you go from the hard drive make sure you use the jumper on the backside and set it to secondary. Also make sure you have the cable installed in the correct order to asure you have the correct setting. If you connect to the plug on your motherboard, you can set it either to master or cable select.
