Hello!

My P4B533-V, while getting my 2.26 to 2.8ghz, seems to be possessed. For starters, I can set Vcore to 1.725 or below, and it works. But if I set Vcore to 1.75v or higher, the PC speaker produces siren-like sounds as the Windows splash screen loads.

It's not a steady siren, it "stutters". Cpu is NOT that hot (compared to the max I've seen the chip at), so I'm at a loss as what's causing it.

Occasionally at 1.70v or 1.725v, there's a chip from the PC speaker.. it's not a consistent thing, though. I upgraded to the 1003 bios, and that doesn't help. When this chip was wire-tricked to 1.85v, running at 1.85 produced no such noises.. can anyone help?

Thanks,

Alex
