I need to learn how to create a compressed avi file from the video source input to the card. I've got the Asus V7700 Deluxe which comes with two programs (Asus Live and Asus Digital VCR). I can get them to create an AVI file, but it's huge. It looks like there is no compression. 2 hours produces 1.8 GB. With proper compression, I know this can get down to 700MB.
I'd appreciate any instructions or links to help me figure this out.
