Ok, I have a Asus A7v133 Rev 1.05 and I'm tring to upgrade from a 1 Ghz T-Bird to a 1800+ Xp.

I've upgraded my bios to 1.07, the one with XP support. No problems there.

I've tried booting in jumperless mode and it keeps rebooting when Windows XP almost finishes loading up.

I've tried it in Jumper mode. I set my VCore at 1.75. I set my FSB at 133. I set my multiplier to 11.5. I'm getting the same problem. Windows XP gets to the welcome screen and the computer reboots. I did get into Windows 1 time, but it locked up as soon as I tried to run 3dMark.

The only thing I can think of is a conflict with my Ram. I use SDRAM: 1 256 mb PC133 and 2 128 mb PC 100 strips. I'm running them all at PC133, which was never a problem with the TBird. Could it be a problem with Windows XP?

Can anyone help me?

Sorry, sounds like you're just one of the many unlucky ones with an a7v133 that doesn't tolerate an XP cpu.

Try taking out the PC100 RAM as a troubleshooting step, and see if it works with just the PC133.
