HELP!!!!!!! ASAP, Windows Xp will not install any new programs

i tired to install unreal 2004 last nite. and near the end of the install when it was loading the files for some voice recoginization software it crashed.

Now i tried to install a printer, and when i install the extra software that comes with it. installsheild will LOAD, and just sit there. not crash or freeze NOTHING. This is frustrating, now i click on some apps, and the say there not found. GRRRR, i run chkdsk, it says found errors, i run it on reboot and it finds nothing to fix.

please help.
 
yup, actaully found the problem

and might have to reinstall windows or risk paying M$ for tech support heres the link to the problem

apparently some windows update contains update info for bluetooth devices. but if you do not have blue tooth, then programs using installsheild 5.5 can take a long imte >5 to start installing.

things install now they just take there TIMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEE
