Situation:
- 3 floor house
- Basement: ISP-supplied wireless router, PC
- 2nd Floor: Apple TV, entertainment system
Problem:
- Wireless signal doesn't reach 2nd floor Apple TV
Proposed Solution:
- Disable the wireless signal on the existing router
- Buy 2 Apple Airport Expresses.
- Hook 1 up to the router in the basement
- Hook 1 up to some midpoint, e.g. the 1st floor
- Hope that the wireless signal now reaches upstairs
Does Airport Express do this? i.e. extend wireless range?
