Help another guy look at watches

I haven't worn a watch in a long time. I'm finding it may be useful to have a classier one around for certain events when taking the phone out all the time might not look the best. My biggest problem with men's watches has always been the size. They're usually too heavy and bigger than they really should be to feel comfortable.

So I'm looking for a fairly slim and small watch that doesn't need to much on it. I want the time and date... everything else is extra. I'm against most metallic bands unless they're thin, and I prefer black leather. In my searches Skagen is a brand that seems to come up often as a decent mid-range watch with a smaller size that I'm looking for. Take a look at all of these I found to be within my style and price range:

Cool watches, If you want to buy some of the ultimate old watches that are very rare and hard to find then visit: site deleted as it has nothing to do with watches . You will find most expensive and rare watched there.

If you want thin and light, why are you looking at all those chrono watches? Adding extra hands/dials to the face certainly doesn't make it lighter, simpler, or thinner.

BTW....Skagen's aren't really very thin. I've got this one I use as my everyday, beat around watch, and it's not what I'd call thin in the least.....not horribly thick, but not thin like a Movado. (On the other hand, the watch has put up with working under a car's hood, replacing a water pump, doing brakes, etc., working on our boat doing fiberglass repair, motor work, etc., and has held up very well.)

the skagen watches are pretty nice. I had one as my last watch and loved it. The mesh bands are my favorite watch bands just infront of nylon webbing Nato style bands. the skagen watches are very thin compared to most avalible here for 100 bucks or so.

I am not one to treat things well or keep them organized. It's why I can't buy nice sunglasses and praise the age of digital game purchases. I know me... and at some point it will be lost. It would be different if I would be wearing this every single day all day long, but I will not be wearing it to work often and only when I go out on weekends. It's "only" $250 for something I should never have to replace, but I just don't know if it's worth that for my uses. It is the best one I've seen though.
