Working on Max Payne 2 and all of a sudden at the end of Part 2, Chapter 4 where you get to play Mona, when I jump down into the room where it goes onto the next chaper, it loads and after the first fourth of the red bar loads, I get the following error which leads to a crash to my desktop:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Exception:
Invalid data read from an R_MemoryFile("13_construction_site_b.ldb")

Closing.....
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then I click OK and it goes to my desktop!

Q: "I'm getting an R_Memoryfile error."
A: You may need to re-install the game. You can also try deleting the three x_level files from your Max Payne folder and copy them from the CD. If that doesn't help, disable DMA from your CD rom and re-install the game.

DMA can be disabled in your control panel/device manager with the respected CD-rom selected. DMA just bypasses the cpu and transfers data between system memory directly to the hardware device.
