Help an old timer ID a Stereo Receiver from the 1980s

please help. I am going nuts trying to remember the brand, let alone the model, of the stereo receiver I owned back in the 1980s.
I was newly commissioned 2nd LT in the Army, and I upgraded from a Pioneer SX-424 (~1977 - 1982)
All I remember is the color was brushed aluminum, and the input selector were a series of clear (plexiglass) rectangular buttons, arranged in a vertical column down the left (or right) edge of the front panel. When you pressed one of the buttons it would glow a pale green. (See Yamaha A-960 stereo integrated Amp). At 1st I thought it was an Onkyo, but when I search online I find nothing that looks like my long lost receiver. HELP!! What brand was that? Have you seen anything like that? Are they still around?

You might have more luck if you use Google images....
Yeah.... Just what I thought. but been there done that with no luck. My other problem is I just can't remember the other popular brands from that era to search for.

Nah..... Doesn't appear to be Technics or Nakamichi; and I know I wouldn't have bought a Kenwood or Sherwood.
