Hi:)

Ok some o/c questions

1- will this ps here take a sempron 64 2600 to 2.5ghz without burning down my house?

2- Does using the agr slot on the Msi Neo3-f hamper overclocking, as opposed to
using a pci - ex card?

3- can someone recommend afordable ram for oc, it has to be widely available and
reasonable price (im in canada , prices are higher + selection smaller)

thanks

+12V1@10A, +12V2@15A

1)12v rail looks a little light...but it might be ok depending on what else you are running. If you are trying to run a 6800, 2 gigs of ram, and 5 HD's...no way. What else do you plan on running?

2)The AGP slot does not affect overclocking at all. Good choice of boards. Great for the price.

3)I'll let others chime in on this. :)

Thanks:thumbsup:

for now maybe a 9200, later a 6600

a raptor or two max, plus ram

** someone on newegg mentioned using crucial value ram
when oc'ing his 2600, thats available and cheap , any comments?

You should read Zebo's stickie about value ram. There really is very little benefit from the more expensive stuff, but check it out for yourself.

That PSU looks *ok* for your setup, but why not go ahead and get something a little bigger/better? A good PSU is something that will last you for years, so the added premium on quality is well worth it. I'm running an Enermax 460 watter that's been rock solid for me. Look around but I definitely suggest not going cheap on your PSU.
