Ok, I just upgraded my rig to a DFI AK76-SN board, 1GHz/266 TBird, and 256mb DDR ram. I installed Windows ME, that went fine. THen I installed the AMD agp miniport driver, then I insalled the VIA IDE busmaster driver. Im not sure if I should have installed those things. COmputer worked fine, and I installed my Video card drivers. Computer still went fine in windows. THen I Installed my SB-Live drivers. The Live-Ware 3.0 stuff. It locked while finding a new device during the installation. Since that point my computer will lock up, just as its getting into windows.
Whats going on? Here are my specs:

DFI AK76-SN
AMD TBird 1-GHz/266 bus
256mb DDR ram
GeForce-2 GTS 32mb DDR
SB-Live X-Gamer (non 5.1)
15gig Seagate Barracuda II
4x4x24 HP CDRW IDE
Panasonic DVD 8x IDE
nic for DSL

THanks in advance for any help.

Is your SB Live in the the 1st PCI slot (the one right next to the AGP)? If so, move it, leave that slot empty if possible. Have u tried just installing the SB Live drivers and not the whole Liveware package?
