HELP: All my text is bold!

It's driving me nuts! All of a sudden my text on my computer screen are bold. Well not the website, but Icons, Menus, Headers, Thunderbird Email. The Email is all bold, which makes it hard to tell what's read and what's not read.

I have no clue what I did to this machine. Unless one of the kids did it.

Sorry...........XP. I did some poking in the display settings, changing font types, bold, size and even adjust the screen res. Didn't have any luck, but I will keep tinkering as maybe I am missing something stupid.

accessibility options maybe?

i dont use xp at home anymore and cant think of much off the top of my head

Some how I think the default installed windows xp themes are messed up. If I use a classic window style/theme............all my text looks fine. If I use a windows xp style/theme then the text is all bold again.

Any thoughts how to refresh the themes for xp?

Well, I think I figured it out after more searching with Google. Someone suggested to run REPAIR FONT FOLDER via the TWEAKUI utility. Seems to have done the trick.
