HELP AGP RAGEIIc unistall?

i want to replace my rage with a new card... does the card just slide out of the AGP slot or do i have to unscrew things?... and also how do i take out all previous drivers.. without losing my monitor resolutions? please answer in some detail? ?? ? I NEED HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP....! THANKS!

There's a screw that holds the card to your case. It holds the metal panel (I never know what those are called) that lines up with your case. As for drivers, check your Add/Remove programs in the control panel. You might be able to uninstall them from in there. Otherwise, I've always just pulled out the old card and plugged in the new one. Windows will detect the new card and ask for drivers. Oh yeah, remember to unscrew the monitor from the video before taking it out.

when i remove all the drivers.... should i just remove everyting that says ATI ?? ? . .. . . ? thank you .. is that all i have to do to take out the video card? ? ?

You need to uninstall any drivers you can through the Add/Remove programs first. Then change your current driver to the "Standard VGA Display". Do this through Device Manager. Shut down your comp, and replace your card. Remove the one screw holding the lip of the card to the case, and pull out as gently as possible. Install is the reverse. make sure card is seated all the way in. You can feel it kind of "snap" in. Boot up, and install new drivers(Windows will do most of the work), Hopefully.:)
