hello Recently I install WIndows XP inmy P4C800Dlx, so?? next?? I dont install any driver yet!!.. What next.. wich are the steps.. !! .. I have a Saphire 9700pro, wich is the best catalist for this VGA card!!
PLease help... I dont want to do a bad instalation!!

Pop over to AsusBoards.com and search for "Operating System Install guide" by Mr. Steveo. That will answer any questions you might have.

there is no bad install...installing drivers then AP1 offers no ill fate. Think about it...before SP1 werre we supposed to not install drivers until SP1 was released? haha

And I recommend the Cat 3.4 Omega drivers. Search google for omega drivers and download the latest. They are tweaked a bit for improved game compatability and speed. If not go with cat 3.5

you need to install the intel chipset driver which is on your m/board cd right after you install xp.
after that suggest you install dx9a then video drivers followed by audio drivers!

WinXP
SP1a
Intel inf (chipset drivers)
IAA (if applicable) Its not with your mobo unless you use SATA RAID.
DX9a
Video card drivers (Cat 3.5)
Sound card drivers
etc.....
