any suggestions for my new computer? So far the specs are as follows...

Chieftec MATRIX case [$90]
Fortron FSP400PFN 400W [$65]
Seagate Barracuda ATA100 120GB [$77]
Asus A7N8X Deluxe [$122]
AMD XP 2500+ [$90]
Powercolor Radeon 9700 non-pro Retail [$215]
Corsair XMS PC3200 [$104]

Total about: $800

Is Corsair RAM really worth $104, or should i go with Crucial?
Any suggestions on the power supply? Any other overall suggestions? Do you all reocmmend an SLK-800 or SL-7 and what fan to go with it? Thanks a bunch

the PSU is good
i dont think you'll be dissapointed w/ the XMS
the slk800 is only slightly better than the SK7, if you wann save some $ you may wanna just get a SK7
i like the NF7-s over the A7N8X personally

what fan would go best with the SL-7, cuz I want to get high/silent performance with my SL-7?

Is it true that the SL-7 is a lot easier to put on than the SLK-800? I'm a newbie at computer building so i don't wanna crack my CPU or anything...

You said the thermaltake smartfan 2 is good? Is the GC68 any good compared to it?

Anyone hear anything about the Vantec Aeroflow VA4-C7040 Heatsink?

Go with the sk7 and some fan. I would personally go with a panaflo L1A since I just got 4 of them and they're super silent when connected to my fan controller (have them set around 1500 rpm).

TT Smartfan 2 is also a good choice.

GC68 = heatsink and fan combination, I think...

last one: never heard of it.
