Hey guys I just got a Abit KT7A raid +Tbird combo from Frys for $329 and Everything is working great, except it takes a really long time for Win2k to shutdown or restart.(I used to have a similar problem with Abit p2b-d untill I got its ACPI fixed) What is happening?
Also the board recognized the cpu as 7.5x100 by default(running at 750mhz) I had to change it to 7.5x137 to run at 1 Ghz. Is that right or was my cpu mismarked?

What are the markings on your cpu?
And also this is a clean install, right?
Did you install the via drivers? (4.29 work good for me

I cant tell you the exact markings, but the cpu number started with AXIA, I did clean reinstall of win2k and then dl latest via 4-1 drivers. Everything seems ok, except for the slowdown during shutdown(like 15 minutes or more) and low sandra scores.
I also got Leadtek Geforce MX card and Monster mX300 card in there along with a Diamond Fireport SCSI and Swann Firewire card and Acctron ISA card. All of them are recognized by win2k

Try pulling all unnecessary cards to eliminate the variables. Then, one at a time, swap video and SCSI with known-good devices. Is SCSI for the HD? If no, yank it. If yes, swap.
