HELP! Abit KA-7 100 problem?

I am building a new system and I am experiencing a major problem! I have an Abit KA-7 100 and a Classic Slot-A Athlon 950 MHz. I am getting a reboot most of the time after I see the hour glass on windows 98SE start-up screen...

I found this statement on another site and I'm not sure what they mean or want me to do!

Windows 98 hangs or reboots during startup or at desktop!

This again has been reported as being due to a problem with the Seagate device driver files. One user who is a small system builder has reported that renaming drvwppqt.vxd and drvwq117.vxd solves the problem. They experienced the problem on motherboards from seven different manufacturers and found the above solution to be successful.

Is there anyone out there running this configuration? If so did you experience anything like this?

Please post and e-mail.

Thanks,
