Help a Photoshop newb

So I'm working on my first photoshopped pic. The pic has 12 or so layers in it. I can't seem to find how to make layer 6 be in front of layer 5. I just want an option to "bring to front" like in Excel or PPT but can't seem to find it. A search for layers in the help manual brings up a lot of cool features of layers, but not anything relevant. TIA
