Hey guys, I have a quick question. How do I transfer scanned sheets of paper to a program like word where I can change the words around and edit them? Can word do this or do I need an outside program? I have a mass amount of documents that need a bit of editing here and there, and retyping them would be a serious pain. Anyone can help?

Thanks

p.s. Grr actuall work sux !

need a program that provides for OCR...can use a regular jpg or tiff image in most of them and it will pick out the words (usually not 100% accurate though)

lol those OCR machines look massive. Hmm you guys wouldnt happen to know if this HP office jet 5510 all in one would have OCR software that comes with it? Or where I can download one for free?

Thanks.

Most scaners will come with some crippled piece of OCR S/W.

There have been several threads on this subject recently.

Activate the new search function using the keyword OCR
