He has the following problem:

"my little brother was forwarded a site in his icq account that told him if he didn't go here, icq was gonna charge him 100$ annual fee
anyway since he has only had icq for like a month, he didn't ingnore it.....he went to the site and it turnted out to be a porn site
now no matter how many times we clear history and everything....it's always there......so whenever you go to type a site with the letter "n" in the beggining...it will pop up
how can we get ride of it
this site is the only one that does that
is there any way to get rid of it
"

Any ideas on how to get rid of this?? Thanks..

Go to winfiles.com and go to utilities. They have a ton of things that will remove all the cookies and such from your history. I have to use one, because my computer is so slow, I need to keep everything cleaned out, and it is easier than doing it manually. Oh, and stay away from porn sites. ;)

With IE5. Goto tools internet options content auto complete button, click on the clear forms button.

If that makes no sense let me know.

LOL

I have the exact same problem. I checked out the entire Maxim Online site one day, and ever since, typing as little as "www.m" into the Address bar produces this at the top of possibilities:

http://www.maximonline.com/world_o_sex/strokes

Stop laughing! I only went there once!

etech: Your method doesn't work. That was the first thing I tried.

I'm going to try out some of the software GirlFriday linked to. Keep you updated.
