Just got the latest version. And i read in another post about the a couple of things being disabled in the US and UK. I'm trying to make a backup of my Links 2001 disks. I select to read to image file. Created a temp folder. when i go to start it i get errors "couldnt read sector 806" etc.

Am i unable to do this now with clone cd? Should i use cdrwin instead? I may not have the settings correct.

getting some errors is normal most of the time, if the copy doesn't work you may need to amplify weak sectors by "moving to canada" ;)

Use CloneCD, just check "Don't Report Read Errors" and uncheck "Abort on Read Error".

Or better yet, use one of the setting presets. Just press "load" on the options page and load the preset for the type of CD you have.

Although there were alot of error in the log. I was able to write an image to my hard drive using clone cd. I dont even know if it worked. To make a backup i have to replace the exe file. I found it confusing though because the file is converted to .cdd i believe (cant recall right now) so there was no clear way to replace the exe. I ended up copying the contents of the cd to a temp file, replaced the .exe file and burned it using Nero.

I'll have to mess around with clone cd some more. I hear its a good program.
