What is the best/free cd-r program out there and where do I get it.

Also for the CD-rw option can I delete on file on a CD-rw disk or do i need to clear the entire CD?

I wanted to install nero but it said that it cannot install because Direct CD is already installed. Direct CD came with my Iomega burner, should I uninstall it? Is nero better and where can I get the crack for it?

I believe that Nero is better than Direct CD. But this isn't the place to ask for cracks.

Nero is better, but asking for cracks is a big no no. It's well worth paying for. :)

If you're going to burn ... you might as well burn with programs like Nero. Adaptec products do not like to be mingled with others. I would uninstall all the Adaptec stuff including going into the registry if need be to make sure that you don't end up with any possible conflicts in the future. As for cracks and stuff like that all I can say is that you're gonna have to do a search around the forums here. There's lots of info to be gleaned about where to go and what to look out for to find what you are looking for.

I also like Nero for ISOs and Audio Cds, but use Clone CD for "backups" of protected CDs
