Help a brother out, Netflix suggestions + hot Netflix deal

I was about to cancel Netflix and got to the last step of cancellation and they offered me three more months for $16 a month (that would be the hot deal). I can't for the life of me think of much to rent, any good suggestions?

Not to be a smartass, but if you can't think of anything to rent, wouldn't it be better to just keep the $48 in your own pocket?

What kinds of movies do you like? HK martial arts or gun operas? Japanese samurai or anime? French action, romantic comedies or explorations of the human condition? American action, SF, or pretentious indie fare? Movies with talking kitties and puppies?

blockbuster here has $25/mo 2 at a time/unlimited monthly rentals. Its a lot easier too because you can just walk in and check them out and return them at the same time.

all the hbo dvds? sex anad the city, sopranos, 6 feet under etc, theres a good 100 discs of that just there i bet.

all the 3 1/2-4 star movies you've missed through the years, not to mention the thousands of indi films there are so many. check out past oscar winners, places like imdb have top 100 lists. rotten tomatoes, eberts great films lists.. etc
