Most "receivers" have amps in them. However, audiophile quality systems often split the functions into two components. The one in the ebay listing seems to have an amp.

Go for it.

Vintage stereos are totally awesome. I've got an old Sony STR-7065A, original everything, including the excellent wood cabinet, in near-perfect condition. Works great, very very loud, before the days of power rating inflation. Beautiful peice of equipment, much more attractive than anything you could buy today. Top of the line from the 70's . . Its good stuff. They don't make them like they used to, I say jump on that one while you can, if it works as described, it will be a fantastic stereo.
