:frown:Help I have a commat mobo --- P2BXA ver106

I have downloaded the flash utility and the zipped rom and I'am not able to run the flash utility. I unzipped the bin file wich has a rom, The utility, bin and the ROM are on a floppy.
Has anyone flashed a commate here if so please help before I pull my hair out.:)

I guess that's why a lot of IT guys are balding hehe.

Any help would be great.

Edit : Ok I have made it to the flashing program now but it tells me that the Rom is for a different machine. I've tried 5 different ROMs and it keeps giving me the same error. All 5 ROMs are for a different version so I'm not sure what to do next. I need to add a 30 gig drive to this PC and the bios won't support it.

Thanks for any help.

You need to either make your disk with the flash on
it bootable or use a windows boot disk. Put it
in your drive and reboot to the command prompt A:\
At the prompt type AWDFLASH(space) then the name
of the .BIN file. As an example it should look like this:

A:\AWDFLASH P2BXA.BIN

Press enter then save your old BIOS when prompted
and follow the instruction and you will restart when done.

I flashed a Commate S7AX just the other day with
no problem.
