6850 at 130$ < Sapphire / MSI Cyclone.
5850 at 110-115$
5830 at 85$ < MSI Twin Frozr 2

Res: 1366x768
CPU: I5 2400
PSU: 500watt OCZ Stealth Xtreme

Thank you in advance !

Yeah all of those are a pretty big step up from a 9600. I bought a used 5770 for $60 off forums, thats pretty big bang 4 buck. Ive seen many 6870's for $130-$140 lately so, i definitely wouldnt spend $130 for a 6850 personally.....

That 5850 and 5830 are both good deals. The 6850 and 6870 are at standard US prices.

The 5850 is faster than the 6850, so if you can get it cheaper, I'd go with that.

At those prices, I would get a 5850 if it's in good condition. Else a 6850. Also consider an overclocked 5770/6770 since your resolution is only ~50% of 1080p. People are sometimes surprised to hear that, but it's true. So an overclocked 5770 should be fast enough for pretty much any game at reasonably high settings.

I don't know why but I would go for the 6850. I believe it's good value for what you take and one of my friends has it and the performance is really good. I would go for it personally.online pokies

Is the 5850 new? I'd get that if it is, but not worth the savings over a new 6850 otherwise.
Especially since it has probably been used in a mining rig for a very long time by now.

With newer tesselation enabled titles 5850 may actually perform worse than 6850 and in older games it doesn't matter as much. So at the same price point 6850 might be better

Op at your resolution 6850 will do nicely. If possible go with the MSI Cyclone in your list.
5850 may be a good value but at this stage i wouldn't go with it.

Thanks for reactions :)

Why not mention the 5830 instead of the overclocking 5770?
I think 5830 Twin Frozr got nice cooling and it can be overclocked aswell and be better than 5770. 5830 got also directx 11 and 5770 i think 10.. so another +.

Also I think the 6850 is a little bit better than the 5830.. like in most games 10 fps or so?

Both 5770 and 5830 are directx 11 cards.5830 is crap compared to the other cards.Yes 6850 is faster than 5830 but the exact number depends on the game.

hehe nobody likes 5830.. I got 3 options left now, one new deal with gtx 460 (this one is new out of box)

-6850 @ 135 $ (MSI Cyclone)
- 5850 @ 111$ (Club 3d OC edition)
- GTX 460 @ 110/120 $ (Gigabyte OC 768 MB)

All the other cards u listed are not new?
Go with the first option.Gtx 460 is a good card but the 768Mb version is quite anemic. For 20$ more 6850 is a better option IMHO.

No the 5850 is like 2 years old, 6850 1 year but still with warranty, and gtx 460 0 hours of use.

Well that makes the decision a bit difficult. But i would still go with 6850.How many years of warranty is left on it anyway?
