Help! 911 APPLE CINEMA DISPLAY FOR PC, who has done this successfully! Help!

I am interested in getting an apple cinema display to work on my p.c. I know that I can buy a ADC to DVI adapter and than hook up a DVI to VGA adapter does anyone know if this works?

Please post your methods or suggestions..
