HELP!! 733e won't post past 550

When I set it to 733 default in bios then reboot it gets hung up at the verifing dmi process. When I put my 650e in the system it will boot into windows but locks up as soon as it loads the icons. So when I put the 733 or the 650 back to 550 everything is fine. Any ideas?

maybe a power or motherboard problem.

it really can't be a problem with power. I have a 300 watt power suppy.
