Am I wrong, or isn't this 5700LE card SLOWER than my previous Chaintech GT ti4400 card?

My ti4400 card crapped out and ABSpc decided to RMA it. I specifically asked to contact me before giving me a replacement, but they didn't. Now I find out that they are giving me a 5700LE as a replacement. Should I refuse the package and ask for a different card?

What card is most equal? Also, I'm not sure what my current system can support (currently I have a temporary ATI Radeon 9800 pro, but it seems overkill).:

You're getting ripped. They should be giving you atleast a 5700 Ultra. That would be pretty equal to your 4400.

Ok...well I'll call them tomorrow and tell them I'm refusing the package.

Well I spoke with them this morning.

I told them that the 5700LE is not an appropriate replacement. Had to argue with a "tech" who said it was, but I eventually convinced him that the 5700LE is a crippled version of the 5700....and that the 5700 is equal to (at best) the ti4400.

They then tried to tell me they would replace my ti4400 with another ti4400 from the manufacturer, but that it would take 30 days since they are in Asia.

I told them that it was unacceptable for me to go without a computer for 30 days.

In the end, I ended up arguing and getting a 9600XT, but I had to pay them a $30 'upgrade' fee. Not too thrilled about having to pay a fee, but at the very least I have a video card for my system.
