When I'm watching a DVD, and Aol Instant Messenger pops up a buddy notification above the taskbar, then fades out, it really slows down the dvd's playback. In fact the whole system seems to crawl while the buddy notification fades away.
This also happens when I open a right-click menu while playing a DVD. Is there some major bug with 6800GT's and overlay?
