HELP!
As of today, I have two laptops and must choose only one. The other goes to a co-worker. Both are Dell Latitude D630, essentially the same, but have slightly different processors. Here are the differences:
#1: 2 months old, Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 @ 2.00 GHz. 2.00GHz, 2.00 GB RAM. I have been using if for two months or so and thus has all my programs, settings, music, etc.
#2: Brand new, Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 @ 2.50 GHz. 772 MHz, 2.00 GB RAM. Nothing personalized yet, as it is new.
Would it be worth my time to move all programs, etc from the 'old' one to the new one for what seems like a rather modest upgrade in processor speed? Also, what is the difference between the 2.00 GHz and 772 MHz indicated on the 'System Properties' menu? Why would the 'old' one have 2 gigs and the new one less than 1 gig?
The IT guy said that I should definitely switch, as the new one is much better, but I'm not so sure...thus, my appeal to you experts.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO???
Thanks,
Justin
