Window 2000 on Gateway 6400 ..... was running PowerDVD when up came the blue screen of death.

Now after rebooting... system is very slow.
CPU usage at 100%...
Task Manager shows the process System at 95-97% and winlogon.exe at 2-4%..

Have rebooted several times with same issue.

system or system idle that's using 100%?

CTHELPER service that installs with SBLive has
a known issue of causing random 100% CPU Utilization
in Win2k.

Just disable the Service. It is not required.
