Hi all,
I am about to build a low budget (<$1000) high RAM high performance system for research purpose. I wonder if anyone has done it before specifically with those cheap pc133 512MB RAM (~$100) from vendors such as
Ajump, 1st Choice Memory, Edge Micro, Neutron, and etc?
Those vendors state that these generic 512MB RAMs are compatible with the KT133A but I am still worry that it might not with 3 sticks of these.
System I had in mind
300W PS with Antec SX830 Case (~$80)
Three 512MB PC133 RAM (3x$100)
Abit KT7A Motherboard or Asus A7V133 (~$140)
AMD T'bird 1.33GHz (~$200)
IBM Deskstar 30GB HD (~$130)
Geforce2 MX (~$80)
Thanks for your help and input
