Hello everyone at AnandTech!

I would like to take this time to introduce myself. I recently just opened up my very own accounting firm, and now I can say I am a very proud business owner! I started out going to college for accounting, became a CPA, and now owning my own business has truly been a blessing. Although there are struggles, things that no one tells you about when starting your own company, it is still better than working for the “man”. I am open if anyone has questions about accounting, starting your own business, and your suggestions.

Make sure you get some E&O coverage for your accounting practice. It's an affordable coverage that you hope you never have to use.

Is it just me, or does it seem like every time we get someone come in who is suppose to be new, they make a few posts then we never hear from them again?

Congratulations on starting your own business! I started mine earlier this year originally for developing my own products but I'm now that I got laid off from my 'regular' job, I'm expanding and taking on external work. As well as working on other projects (see sig). It is definitely a rewarding and great experience. And not nearly as stressful as working for the 'man.'

How do you start a business selling iPods?

Actually you sound somewhat legit, if that's the case, welcome to the madness.

Yes of course, the very first post you're going to make in AT is about opening an accountancy business, right?
