This is my first post to this forum. I was wondering if any readers ever have problems with the posts to newsgroups in outlook express?
I have made several posts to the soundblaster live newsgroup(creative.products.sound_blaster.live, but I am not sure they are being seen. What follows is the post itself which I will also post on the hardware forum:
I have a sb live on a win98se system, the motherboard is an asus p5ab
bios ver 1.06, it has 256 mg of ram. It has internet connection sharing
installed. I can not get the msn or yahoo messenger pc to phone voice to
work.Nothing comes out of the speakers when my call has been conected nor
does my microphone transmit anything . It is connected to the internet via a
usrobotics hardware modem
It is a peer in a peer to peer network
My other system has a 20 dollar yamaha soundcard installed, it is the
client machine to the internet connection sharing machine.(No modem just a
nic installed) The voice parts of msn and yahoo messenger work just
fine..(speaker and microphone both work fine)
please, I posted this here before and recieved no reply ... if anybody
has any imput at all about this please help!I just got the newest drivers
for the liveware so I have tried that already TIA

u have trouble getting msn/yahoo messenger's voice messaging feature to work

does it work if u disable ics?
