Just thought I would stop in and say hey. I am in Valparaiso Chile right now. I will be back in the states around the end of July. Anybody in the San Diego/ LA area let me know so maybe we can meet up. If not I will be in Ohio in the beginning of August. I know there are a few up there. Ok see you all on the flipside!!!
 
Too bad you're not in Santiago. I could recommend a darned good Chilean restaurant. :Q

Chile is an interesting mix of extremes. The people are wonderful - and about 90% bilingual. It cracked me up how many times I'd dig out my Spanish/English dictionary, and doubtless asked if my dog was blue - or some equally insipid carnage on the Spanish language -- only to have the person ask "what was it you wanted, Sir?" in perfect English.
