I just got in from a red eye flight. I was supposed to meet my friends here but their flight got cancelled... they wont show up until 5 today. I am in the hotel but they wont let me check in since there are no empty rooms available. The hotel is the millenium un hotel near grand central station.

Please reccomend me some things to do to kill time. I will probably walk to grand central station and times square in the meantime...
 
Man, crappy weekend to be here. I was looking forward to sitting on the couch all weekend and watching the rain, but my gf's cousin is making a surprise visit from DC with his gf who's never been to NYC so we have to do the touristy thing now too.

Let's see...midtown. You can spend a few minutes wandering around GCT, I'd suggest getting lunch in the dining concourse as most midtown restaurants are closed on the weekends for lunch. There's a bunch of good stuff down there, Two Boots pizza, Jacque-Imo's, Brother Jimmy's, Golden Krust.

You could head over to MoMA on 53rd, that'll keep you out of the rain for a while. Or you could take a bus down 42nd and go catch a movie (there's a Lowe's and another nice theater on 42nd and 8th). I know, not very touristy, but I don't know what you want to wait for your friends for, and the weather sucks. You could also go see Times Square, but like I said, crappy weather.
