You save $1.00 (off the list price) per Amazon link.

I tried the free version. I was a huge Diablo player but ended up not very impressed by this one in my limited exposure to it.

I'm pretty sure that list price is incorrect. Hell, the digital download of it directly from EA is $29.95.

I picked it up, even though I wasn't that interested in the game. I hope that it isn't multiplayer only, because MP was the part of Diablo I didn't like much. I really should have looked into it a little more before buying it but, oh well, it's only $20. Thanks for the deal.

hellagate is ok ..... but it's a bit repetitive, kinda like Oblivion.

they have a similiar layout for every dark cave/dungeon you have to quest into.

the skill tree and character development is pretty forgiving. If you put a skill point into somewhere you don't really use then it's not a big deal ... unlike Diablo II where a single skill point misstep and you were mob fodder in the upper levels

Bought hellgate a few months ago-it is a pretty good game. I also bought Oblivion, which ate up my time like my toilet eats up bouts of diarrhea after I drink cranberry juice. I think the point of my rambling is this: 1) 18.99 for hellgate is a good deal, 2) Oblivion is more fun in my opinion, and 3) cranberry juice is a potent laxative when drunk in large quantities.

Hellgate is all about grin and eye candy. I paid full retail for it and I think it was an okay game. for $20 buck and nothing to do on hand, this is an awesome deal. After playing all 6 classes well into nightmare mode then shit starts to get boring; co-oping with other players online is perhaps the only saving grace.

btw: Multiplayer mode = Single player mode minus the online community

I bought Hellgate: London the day it was released and I only played it for maybe a week before getting extremely bored with it. Acourse in the beginning the game had many problems and felt like it was still in beta form, but I have heard it's gotten much better and they have fixed many problems...but it's still the core game that was released and it isn't for everyone.

For $18? I would say it's worth it..much better price then the $59.99 I paid for the Collector's Edition....(although the box was pretty sweet + the cool comic)

yes it did. Bugs were fixed and they actually manage to make things prettier, much to my surprise. It is either they did a half ass job in the beginning to rush the Xmas shipping season, or they bother to put an effort to increase the image quality. I go with the former; but at least they did fix it. It's like I bought a half completed game in the beginning and now it's finally done (After xxx amount of patches)
