two more questions. does the same data cable allow the phone's digital cam pix to be downloaded to the computer? does it use USB interface (on computer's end)? thanks

Not sure about the pix, havent tried it yet...

And yes, its a USB cable...

okay, i have couple of more questions (sorry). will Compaq Ipaq 39xx series PDA work with this phone as a modem? after thinking about it, i really hate the idea of lugging the laptop around outside of my office and home. i think linking this to a PDA (wouldn't Pocket PC be more preferable over Palm) would make more sense than to a laptop. of course i'm assuming that you would get much better browsing using a PDA than browsing on the cellphone. also, another reason is that PDA's battery life is much longer than that of a laptop.

Where do you get the USB cable? Can you use it to sync the pictures? I checked the Sprint site and I didn't find anything for my Sanyo 5100.

Only serial cables are around for your phone and it would use the 2G system yielding a blazing 14.4k and it does eat up your minutes. If you have the WW add-on then its just minutes, if not then its $0.39 per minute and you get charged the minute.

Ilmater, are you a CSR or do you work in a retail store....?
