So the xbox 360 is supposed to support all kinds of HD formats and 16:9 in all games, etc.. blah blah...

What kind of connections on the TV will it take to display this in all its glory? I have an Infocus 4805 projector, but the Componet cables on it only do 480i and not 1080i. It does have the dvi connection, is it possible the xbox will have a means to hook up to that dvi connection? Or will the Componet cables be the best everyone has?

My 4805 does 1080i, 720p, and 480p via component cables (as well as 480i). It won't do ED or HD via S-video or composite, but it will via component.

REALLY? Wow I have been doing 480i on it for my xbox, the manual says that the componet input is 480i only, and that the dvi m1 port is for the others....

So when you turn it on for a 1080i device with the componet cables it says 1080i down bottom?

COOL. I didnt know that... Well even though most of the xbox games are only 480p thats still better than the 480i I was doing, there are a few 720p games, but hardly any 1080i games, but Avalaunch does look good 1080i :p

thanks,
Josh
