Noticed a lot of choppers flying around, still going actually. Was wondering what it was, usually some accident (trama-hawk) or maybe a robbery (rarely). New one though, it's a Bomb Threat.

Intersection far enough away that I'm not worried about the bomb threat, but, still... I'm pretty close to there. I could take pics but really nothing interesting, other than it's close to me.

Edit - another link, idiot upset because he couldn't use his credit car w/o ID.

flush the coke down the toilet!

that's what you get for having a babysitter who uses her cell phone to arrange the handoff.

News Chopper was overhead (right above house) for a good 30 minutes filming in the direction of the intersection. I took some video of it, if it was angled a bit different probably could see the pilot. Boring, but, still, it was there.

I deleted all my stuff, y'know, just to be safe. ;)

..I get the same thing here in sf near hwy280. Any little glitch in traffic flow kgo is up there with cameras hoping to catch something on video. It has the effect of slowing traffic overall because everybody sees the chopper and slows down to look around. And the local neighbourhood has to tollerate a low flying chopper and all the noise and hazzard that comes along with that. If that helicopter goes down with a full tank of fuel in one of those crowded neighbourhoods it would be a disaster. Many years ago exactly that happened when a copter went down in a nearby lake just missing an apartment complex.:|

There's a mini-airport (private/public but not commercial) a few miles away. We get lots of planes flying over, but not bad and not annoying. The helicopters are the worse, they fly the lowest and slowest. Usually we tune them out, but, we do notice when they keep flying back/forth. Like I said in the OP, the Tramahawk chopper is typically why, usually around 11-1am on fri/sat nights.

I'd like to say siteseeing, and the Aerial Viewof our neighborhood is pretty cool... but that has nothing to do with it, I'm sure.
