If there is money to be made in Afghanistan (whether its oil pipes or defense contrats worth billions), then it will continue. The president of the US position was losing power back in the days of Eisenhower (remember his warning speech upon exiting about the military industrial complex?), how helpless do u think the current president is now? The corporations have been chipping away at the presidents power for over 50 years, he simply doesnt have the power.

The US debt is insane, but americans seem oblivious to it and are just carrying on. Where are the demonstrations???? where are the journalists screaming at the insanity of the national debt? nowhere in site, instead ppl like u come on the internet and say oh its the presidents fault.

I haven't seen a single link stating that any of those that killed Osama were part of this team that went down. When this first occurred, I remember seeing on the TV news (NBC, CBS - I forget) that they explicitly stated that the crew that took out Osama was not on the helicopter. They could have been lying, don't know. But I didn't think it was conspiracy.
