Helicopter - from below photo!

He sent it yesterday, I asked him what he was doing out on the runway with a camera under a helicopter....his answer.....I was bored... 🙂
 
a funny story (dunno why im posting, but who cares 😛)

we were recently filming a low-budget war movie that follows a US marine involved in the initial invasion of Iraq. We were outside in Downtown LA filming a small war scene between a platoon of marines and what they believed were insurgents.

We had a platoon of real marines armed with their correct weaponry (loaded with blanks) and 2 authetic military humvees with .50 cals, both with large american flags waving behind them.

Midway through the day, we see 2 of what appears to be those very same helicopters fly above us while we were filming a scene. We continued on, only to see them circle back again and hover around us slowly, trying to see wtf we were up to.

kind of amusing, but im sure they might have been confused 😛

we had all the neccesary permits and a police escort, and we grabbed some footage of the copters, raising our production value since we could not afford to rent them.
