I just got my MSI KT3 Ultra motherboard from newegg.

I got everything running fine, so I started messing with the frequency settings. However, I cannot get it to post after the OC. Nothing shows up on the screen and i hear two short beeps followed by another short beep. Mainly, it's a problem with the ram. I've reset the CMOS jumper to no avail. Do you think I should just RMA it or has anyone had a similar problem but figured out something else.

Let me know

I've done this many of times myself and went through 3 boards before I actually realized how to correct this situation. Your motherboard should be fine, but you need to thoroughly clear the cmos. Set the position to clear, remove the battery, and unplug the computer from the wall. That always worked for me.

i agree with BigJ2078, you have to unplug the computer to properly reset it. i've done it many times now with the kt3.

Unless you unplug from the wall, CMOS memory voltage is maintained by the power supply even though the battery is removed in an ATX case. I don't know how many times I have made this mistake and wasted hours even though I know better.
