Heineken Dark Lager

Has anyone had the Heinkenen Dark Lager? If so, is it better than the original?

Regular Heineken is frequently skunky, so I'm going to have to say yes.

I ocassionally get a hold of a good batch, but a bad batch of Heineken is better than the best Natural Light.

I agree. Everyone gushes about Heineken, but I personally think it's crap. However I don't like most European beers that come in green bottles. I'd rather drink PBR than heineken. Although I much prefer a Newcastle Brown, a good IPA, or a Black and Tan.....mmmm...beer.

I think it was a poor attempt for Heineken to step in to the "I make Dark Beer too" market.

it was tasteless, I prefer the original... if I have to make a choice between the two.

Honestly, aside from the tiny stock of Utopias or Triple Bock, that's probably the best beer they make.

Or how about some pumpkin beer? Who's into that? 😀

Don't knock it till you've tried it. I've had a couple Pumpkin Ale's and they're pretty good. One of them actually tasted like pumpkin pie 😀

As far as the Heineken Dark Lager, I've had it before. Nothing spectacular, but nothing horrible either. 🙂
