There's a bit of bias in that list.
MS vulnerabilities stay out in the open for months, if not years. Most times they are not reported, or the reports are kept quiet. FF has open reporting, so anytime a vulnerability is found, it's broadcast for everyone to see, so it can be fixed quickly. Security through obscurity is the MS motto, and as we've seen by all the viruses that have completely shut down businesses... it doesn't work.

Shens on IE not being on that list at all.

Shens on WINDOWS not being on that list at all.

Shens on Kazaa + IM services not topping the list. WTF. Doesn't Kazaa now come standard with spyware? :p

Plus, I don't think the list accounts for the average intelligence level of each program's typical user. :p

Thats FF 1.0.7, its been updated atleast twice since that release....

Shens on your reading comprehension.

Firefox 1.0.7 -- which has been patched (and so superseded) by 1.0.8, not to mention Firefox 1.5

Which means 1.0.7 has the vulnerability, not the patched versions.
If you had finished reading the article:
Eleven of the 15 can be patched or updated, but no fixes exist for Yahoo Instant Messenger, Sony, Kazaa, or ICQ

A patched firefox, not being one of them.

Ah, sorry, Jassi. I just didn't think they'd be ignorant to test an old release of a program.

Funny 'cuz I've never had a problem using IE or FF.

Add me to that list...
I was showing a coworker a lot of the features that are absent in IE - features that I used daily - she said "Wow, how did you get firefox but they didn't put it on all the computers?"
"Simple, I asked."
