Cheeky Worker Adds To Label On Aero Candy Bars
UK - Furious factory bosses are hunting a worker who printed a rude slur on a truck-load of chocolate bars.
The cheeky worker was supposed to print the 'best before' date on the Aero bars. Instead, he changed the machine's settings to print "S**t Bar" on each of the wrappers. As the bars were piled high on pallets and about to be shipped out to the shops, another shift worker spotted the mucky misprint and stopped the process in time.
Scrapping the bars could cost makers Nestle Rowntree up to £1m. A spokesman for the company told the Daily Star: "We are investigating what took place last Friday. "This was an internal issue involving a small amount of product and our quality controls are such that none of the bars could have left the building. "We do not tolerate any breach of our quality standards and are undertaking a review to ensure that it cannot happen again."
