hehe Bush said "nucular"

Unless I misheard him, I'm pretty sure he said Iraq has "nucular" wepeaons...I love when he does that 😀

Though disapproved of by many, pronunciations ending in \-ky&-l&r\ have been found in widespread use among educated speakers including scientists, lawyers, professors, congressmen, U.S. cabinet members, and at least one U.S. president and one vice president. While most common in the U.S., these pronunciations have also been heard from British and Canadian speakers.

Just the other day Ted Kennedy said "kah" I love it when he does that.

His brother used to refer to a strange country named "Cuber."

His pronunciation is quite acceptable to most. Besides; if you had the things on your mind that he has on his, you'd be mucking up a few words too. 🙂

Seriously. If you don't like the president come up with a legitimate beef, don't make an ass of yourself and mock how someone talks.

If Joe in accounting says nuke-u-lar, I make fun of him too - not just the President. Jeez people, President Bush doesn't need 1000 ATOT-ers protecting his honor on every little issue. . . 😉

He must have had a lot on his mind since birth then.

I don't have any problem with the way he talks.

Clinton sounded a heck of a lot more uneducated in my opinion.

I thought partisanship just made you blind. Apparently it makes you deaf too.

No, no. We all know that a southern accent makes you less educated. . . (Somehow he just managed to graduate from Georgetown University and in 1968, win a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University, and receive a law degree from Yale University in 1973 😉)

"When I was a younger man and had a life," stated Clinton, "I owned an El Camino pickup in the '70s. It was a real sort of Southern deal. I had Astroturf in the back. You don't want to know why, but I did."

I can just see that toe-picking hillbilly from Dogpatch tossing his pigshit encrusted boots in the back, shoving all the beer cans out of the seat and plopping his fat ass down on the shredded imitation vinyl.

I'm not making fun of Bush because of the great leader I believe him to be, but he also says "disarmorment" instead of the correct word, disarmament.
