You can download it here i think if you no longer have it: http://www.fileshack.com/file.x/3634/Aquamark+3
I remember it being a royal pita to run on slow cards, since it has to render every scene, so it used to take forever on a 9200 or a GF4MX ;)

My 9800 pro got an easy mid-high 30k iirc, but i only had 512mb RAM back then, and iirc AQ3 is pretty sensitive to the rest of your rig...

THis was run on a tbred-b@2.1/1GB RAM/Asus A7V8X/6600GT@583/1140.

EDIT: faster link, cheers Synth :)

Ahh AqM3. The fun I had getting all I could from an MX440, then a 9700pro.

That last explosion scene, oh the dizzy heights of straining for double figures in that last bit :)

X2 4200@2.475GHz, 1GB, eVGA 7600GT KO

28fps in the midst of the last explosion. The whole thing runs so fast I can't properly enjoy the scenery and quality of the rendering.

I never actually had hardware capable of running that in the days when it was popular.

I take it the company is out of business now, since their website is held by squatters.

Nice ;)

I didn't drop below the even 20fps with my 6600GT in that last bit which i was quite impressed with...

Unfortunately, Aquamark isn't compatible with Windows XP x64bit, so right now my score is 0, even though I have an X1900XT and Athlon X2 3800 (2.6GHz) :(

I've never tried Aquamark actually. If 3Dmark is a measure of CPU and more importantly GPU capabilities (to simply put), then what exactly is Aquamark a measure of?

aquamark measures your CPU and GPU also. your score is your average framerate from the test.

Same here. Don't feel like installing a different OS to score 100k+ in a 3 year old benchmark, oh well :p

Edit: I remember getting somewhere between 30k and 40k on my old 9700 Pro back in the day...

I'm getting the same thing as Zenoth. This happened on two different systems. My old 3.2GHz P4 and my new Core 2 E6700. The benchmark completes but the score screen doesn't show up and gives me that same error message Zenoth got. This sucks, I used to be able to do the benchmark just fine. :( I wanna know how much improvement I'm getting with my new build.
