There sure are alot of manly men that come to the internet to talk about their man-ness!

But yeah, the kid was a mamma's boy.

He probably was acting it up for 2 reasons. Took longer to load them up (he is in retail on the clock being paid per hour) and he probably wanted a tip. People are most likely more inclined to give a tip if they felt it was actually hard work. Obviously in this case, the plan (if that was his plan) backfired completely.

You're right, what the hell is wrong with these whimps in America today? I mean really, offering to help you, then putting in some hard work to help you load them all? I'm with you, I'd be much more inclined to tip the person that didn't have to try as hard to help a customer out. It must be that stupid American work-ethic.

 Ass.

Those ceiling tiles look tegular, I hope you know how to install tegular tiles, otherwise it'll be a mess.

wimp. When I worked in the kitched I had to unload the truck and had to prep at the end of the night. 6 boxes of grease @ 40 pounds and 20 boxes/bags of spuds @ 50 pounds each. I'm still a scrawny white guy but I never complained.

Oh excuse me, he was "volunteered." You're right, wtf was this kid thinking?! He was told to do something by his boss and he did it, even though it wasn't easy for him; jeez, what a whimp. OP is clearly a man's man, having witnessed this atrocity and promptly reporting it to a website full of computer geeks who for the most part agreed that it was laughable because they themselves were capable of lifting more. I can just never imagine my life being so unfulfilling that I feel the need to make a post on an internet message board making fun of a kid busting his ass.

Agreed, I think OP is the big pussy here who needed help in the first place. He could've declined the help and loaded the tiles himself--I'm sure his fat ass could've used the exercise.

I've woked as lot attendant at Home Despot before... generally they hired people who could do the job. I even got a tip once! It worked out to an average of fifty cents per month worked... I never bothered to figure out how many fractions of a penny per ton.

More like he was asked/told to help and he whined and overexaggerated everything along the way?

I worked at ACE lumber when I was 15, we used to have unofficial records for loading stuff into customers vehicles. My record was 4 bags of sakrete at once, 10 feet away into a guys truck (I think i hurt my groin though :(

SHENS. No 15yo can haul 240# at one time. Especially bags of akward to carry Sakrete

Bah, 40 pounds is a dumbbell press warm up

That 40 lbs each, right....????

Yes of course. And I'm talking about the seated shoulder press with dumbbells, not the lying bench press. actually 40lbs is too light for both exercises anyway

the bottom of the bottom bag was level with my hands in the stack, so I basically had my arms locked, and took several small steps and dropped it on the back of the truck's tailgate.

You have no idea the shape I was in at 15 years old, so you can't even begin to call shens. I was nearly 6' and weighed 160-170lbs. Ever worked on a farm? Helped haul truckload after truckload of wood out of the woods, chopped it all, stacked it all? Worked at a lumber yard for 2 years, and doing landscaping/yard work since you were 12?

I didn't think so. And I don't know what a bag of sakrete weighs these days, but they weighed 80lbs 10 years ago, so it was actually 320 lbs...

If you think 320 lbs is too much to support with your legs when you already weigh 160ish lbs, and are in great shape, then you dont know much.

I get annoyed by people who call Shens when they havnt even thought the situation through.
